MilGen Excellence is a youth-led non-governmental organization dedicated to solving the problem of youth unemployment by developing employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Established in 2025, MilGen Excellence began with a live cooking competition held in the street food market under the Manzini Municipal Council. Since then, we've been dedicated to creating opportunities for EmaSwati youth.
We operate based on the principles of Development, Openness, Humility, and Inclusivity. These values guide everything we do and how we interact with our community.
We address a critical gap in the market: many young people lack the formal work experience that employers look for. MilGen Excellence bridges this gap by honing and validating the capabilities of youth, making them more competitive and ready for the job market.
To directly reduce youth unemployment by developing both employability and entrepreneurial capabilities, thereby contributing to the advancement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8.
To enable EmaSwati to earn sustainable livelihoods by using their own skills and talents.
